HOW TO MAKE GARAM MASALA AT HOME?
INGREDIENTS
Whole Cumin (Saboot Jeera) - 100 gmCoriander Seeds (Saboot Dhania) - 30 gm
Black Cardamom (Moti Elaichi) - 20 gm
Green Cardamom (Choti Elaichi) - 50 gm
Black Peppercorns (Saboot Kali Mirch) - 15 gm
Cinnamon (Dalchini) - 10 x 1" pieces
Cloves (Laung) - 10
Mace (Javitri) - 10 gm
Bay Leaves (Tej Patta) 12
Nutmeg (Jaiphal) - 1/2 broken into small pieces
Black Cardamom (Moti Elaichi) - 20 gm
Green Cardamom (Choti Elaichi) - 50 gm
Black Peppercorns (Saboot Kali Mirch) - 15 gm
Cinnamon (Dalchini) - 10 x 1" pieces
Cloves (Laung) - 10
Mace (Javitri) - 10 gm
Bay Leaves (Tej Patta) 12
Nutmeg (Jaiphal) - 1/2 broken into small pieces
1. Grind all together in a grinder.
2. Store powder in an air tight container.
This is used in almost all North Indian Cuisine.
