PEPPERMINT BONBONS

 
 
INGREDIENTS
 
Condensed Milk - 1/2 tin
Peppermint Essence - 1 tsp
Polo Peppermint Candy - 2 packets powdered
Red or Green Food Coloring - few drops
Icing Sugar - 350 to 450 gm, sifted
Walnuts - 75 gm, halved
 

1. Mix condensed milk with peppermint essence, peppermint powder and food color. Stir in 350 gm icing sugar. Knead in enough extra icing sugar to give a smooth firm mixture.
2. Roll out mixture to 1/4" thickness and cut out small circles with a round cutter.
3. Lightly press 1/2 walnut on to each bonbon.
4. Leave to dry.
