HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN STOCK
INGREDIENTS
Chicken - 1 (750 to 800 gm) cut into 12 pieces with bones
Water - 8 cups or 1600 ml or 1 litre and 600 ml
Salt - 1 tsp
1. Place chicken, salt and water in pressure cooker. Boil. Place lid without whistle on cooker. When steam appears from spout, place whistle on lid, reduce gas to sim and cook for 10 minutes. Cool cooker. Remove lid. Strain chicken and liquid.
2. Resulting liquid is Chicken Stock.
3. It can be used in soups and to make sauces.
4. Resulting chicken is Boiled Chicken.
5. Keep boiled chicken in fridge for 1 hour to firm up the meat.
6. Remove meat from bones. Can be diced big or small for soups, sandwiches, salads and for cooking.
