WHAT WE'RE COOKING TODAY: EASY RICE (MICROWAVE COOKED)
 
 
 
 
Basmati Rice - 250 gm will yield 400 gm cooked rice
 
 
1. Wash rice, drain and place in microwave dish large enough to allow expansion during cooking.
2. Add enough room temperature water to rise 1 inch above surface of rice.
3. Cook in microwave uncovered for about 12 minutes without stirring until water has been absorbed.
4. Check if done. Fluff up with fork and serve.
